Course Description
Molecular biology of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and their viruses. Structure of genes and chromosomes, DNA replication, DNA repair, and genome editing. Regulation of gene expression, epigenetics, splicing, and RNA interference. Protein synthesis, folding, post-translational modifications, degradation, and trafficking to subcellular compartments.
